That was by far the best show ever! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed each others company. Nothing but big smiles all day!
Great job Molloni and everyone involved with making it such a day to be remembered. I still can't get over the mall experience, that was just AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! |

Here are mine. If you want a full res copy, let me know.
Also, SRM, I made a panoramic that should fit your screens. What's your AIM so I can send it to you? It's a full res TIFF and is 31MB, barely too large for e-mail. It's a full res crop of the first pic here. |

Ok, so I finally get a chance to sit down and write. Well, after I finally uploaded the member pictures back on page one!
It was an absolutely fantastic day! I was worried when I got up and found my car covered in rain, but a little chamois action later, it was all set. We did well with the rally point, and we were on time for the most part. We may have missed the goodie bags at the show, but at least we got the dash plaques. I had so much help pulling this one together, I could not have done it with out many of you. First and foremost I thank all of you who attended. Yes, we did crush the Corvair club (they did have a few more members this year, but...not enough) in numbers, but it wasn't just about that. They gave us our own class this year, and we turned out in such force that they knew they didn't go wrong. What better way of thanking them for the class than a strong turn out to fill it? It was great to hang out with you all, and great to meet many of you for the first time. I certainly want to thank TRC-SS for helping me out at Rally Point 2 in Hopkinton, ahead of time, and the day of the show. And for taking the videos and the pictures. Also for pictures were Eric Baker and Duflar. You guys had the right equipment for that shot, and man did it turn out nice! For that, I have to thank united1 (and his family). When I talked to Paul on the mobile and he said you already had the C and 5 done, I knew it was a winner. You set that up and executed it flawlessly! I am so glad you stepped up and did the layout work in that lot (I just hope the paint isn't too permanent). Hats off to you! I'm not sure who all was directly helping you line guys up, but I know 600 was there, but I don't know who else. Thank you guys for helping out. Paul SS, I know you rallied the RI guys. You had a great turn out! Havok - you take the cake...or should I say, you had some cake (well, cupcakes and such). You were gracious enough to offer up your house for us to have our after party. And your folks were awesome with their hospitality! I certainly did not expect the set up they had all ready for us when we got there, even down to the radio with the tunes. Too cool (and the pulled pork was delicious). Charlie - thanks to you and Jim for the smokes. Perfect timing with those. And thank gram for those beans! Tessa - you got to carry around the clipboard...how do you feel? Vail gets and honorary mention for being my time keeper. Bumblebee - for knowing the route and leading us along. I think we did a good job keeping pace and keeping things good. Duflar and Bumblebee for the radios - I'm getting myself a set of those - they really came in handy (until the end when four of us using them were one right after the other). Chris - for the article; nice job who else? if I forgot you, it's because it's late and I'm still tired. When I remember, I'll edit my post here. now for some more pictures! Hopkinton Rally Point ES Mall Rally Point and Formation just looks like a line of cars... Note to self, the blind valet service was not a good idea... What's everyone doing up there? At The Show Yep, Tessa has the clipboard Awwww...maybe next year.........NAAAAA! Do you think they got scared when we all came up? Havok's Afterparty

I like some have gone to tons of car shows and this by far is my favorite. EVER !!!! Thanks to all that set this up and to havoks family for having us over. The set up at Mr havoks was excellent. Ms havok can cook a mean pulled pork. What a perfect day. It will be hard to ever top this.

It was a pretty awesome day... it was nice to meet more of the Camaro5 local members that I havn't met yet.
It was a well planned event - credit has to go to Molloni! The after Party was cool at Havok's house. Wish I didn't have the almost 3 hour drive home, otherwise I would have stayed longer! My favorite part was the REALLY LONG line of Camaro's going from the Mall to the car show. That had to freak out some people that saw all those cars in formation! -Dan |
