Edison Lake in a new Camaro?
It's been a long, long time for me since I've been up to Edison. If I remember correctly, the road up to Edison is not the type of road you drive a new car on. Unless they have made it a two way paved road, it's more of a truck road. Has it been upgraded? See you Camaro guys around town....be safe!

congrats to all you guys my silver ss rs should be here in a week or so depending on what affect the transmission hold up had on it im going to form a group and take any one who wants to go with me to see my personal friends at techco performance formaly Saleen techs for superchargers and other mods your all welcome to come with i should be able to get everyone group discounts contact me if you want to know more or if you want some stereo equipment i have a shop in Modesto and have already done a yellow 2010 ss rs 605-4720 matt.

I drove mine home on June 15th, but to date I've only seen two other Camaros once while driving around Fresno / Clovis...a Silver one on June 12th - the same day mine arrived on the truck - and a Yellow one W/stripes a little less than a week ago. I did see an IBM and a RJT on the truck before they were dropped off at my dealer though.
Anyway, I got my windows tinted the first part of this month...and love it!!! Cuts out ALOT of heat, and really doesn't harm my visibility at all. The first pic is me driving it for the first time on June 15th, and the others are right after I left the tint shop on July 8th. One other thing I must mention though is that the Zaino Polish is a must!!! I never used it before, but I'll never use anything but Zaino in the future! Great stuff....

Your tint looks great! I havent seen your car around either. Mine is still in the shop.
Here are some pics. Its been in the shop for a while getting chrome wheels, side gilles, painted rally stripes, painted ground effects, and I am also painting the trim between the deck lid and the bumper. I cant wait, it should be done this week!!!! |

Tracked my Camaro this morning and the railcar left NB today--maybe one more week and it will be here? Heard there was one like mine delivered earlier this month-but have yet to see one driving through Turlock yet! Just can't wait to finally take mine home!!

rharon...man, you're going all out! Your Camaro is going to look sooooooo damn sweet when you're all done!!! (Probably the hottest one in town!!!)
As far as the tint goes - I think we got 'em done at the same place. They told me they had done one before mine, and I'm pretty sure it was yours. I did go with their Pinnacle Ceramic Tint - 5 on the back three, and 15 on the two largers ones. How 'bout you?

Ordered my IBM 2SS/RS about a week ago. They (Dealer) said that it takes about 2 weeks to get a workbence order #? Anyway, I look forward to meeting everyone at our next get together.

Meet & Greet
I've been wanting to do that for some time now. It would be nice to get everyone together and do some photos of the different colors and Mods. That tint is gonna draw cops for sure. I'm surprised the shops do it b/c it is illegal to have your front windows tinted. Just a matter of time that you will be ticketed for it. It's an officer safety thing. I just saw my first "other" Camaro in town yesterday! After two months of driving around the Fresno/Clovis area, I ran into a Black SS/RS at Sierra Vista Mall. The owner was a very personable young lady, and she has a great looking Camaro. We were both parked though, so technically, I still haven't seen one while driving about town. Enjoy your new rides!

Yep Rob53 sides are illegal, but our local shop has you sign a waiver stating that you know it is illegal and you agree to have it done (must be 18) and I have found with my previous camaro's and other cars that if you do 35/45 it gives you enough tint to feel better in the car (really can't stand driving a car with the sun blazing through clear side windows at you in this valley heat) and it is just enough it doesn't stand out to the cops, BUT then again I am sure this new car of mine will stand out regardless--taking my chances, already have the tint shop ready and on call as soon as my car comes in!

I love the windows with a little tint on them. It lets your eye focus on the body of the car more.
