The only part of the car I think looks significantly different is the front facia. The rest, like I said, just seems like it was updated.

The same frame huh? Take a look at this.

BTW, the Genesis Coupe isnt a Tiburon replacement. There is a new Tiburon replacement in the works. Hyundai will have 2 coupes in its line up. Plus quite possibly a REAL 2 seater sports car that will compete with the 370Z.

It was an american, Joel Piaskowski (sp?) who now works for Mercedes. So look for Mercerdes having "styling ripoffs" from Hyundai.

People dont understand that designers are like freelance people. They move with the wind. So its no wonder that car companies have similar styling cues: BECAUSE THEY WERE DESIGNED BY THE SAME PERSON!!

Perfect example: VW's Passat and Ford's early model Fusion/500, both designed by Jay Mays.

Nay sayers: "Ford ripped off VW's design, cant they come up with something original?!!"

Furthermore, the Tiburon is quite pathetically weak compared to the Genesis Coupe. I'm fairly sure my Focus could keep up with a Tiburon...

I think it's cool, but what do I know? I had a first gen Tiburon, the one with the weird headlights...and I liked it!
