Been at 3800 for a week now with a VIN. I keep thinking it is somewhere en route on Saturday or Sunday but according to the event codes it seems to still be sitting in Oshawa. Does it have to be in the 4000's to be on the move?

Hi -

I ordered mine on February 4th.
VIN number is 2 G1FT1EW 6 A 9101080. It's a 2SS Ice Silver with Cyber Grey Stripes.

When I called the order tracking # at 1-800-263-3777 I was told that they could not help me because I didn't have an order #. I haven't received an order number year from the dealer, and have received no welcome kit from GM, and no event number.

Is there any other way to find out what's what with any orders? I hate calling my dealer every week to ask him.

You should have gotten a printed sales bill from your dealer with your order number on it. If they didn't give you that they may not have entered the order into the system. And there is no way you should have a VIN yet if you ordered in 2009. There are many, many people who ordered the first week in October and are still waiting for a VIN. Talk to your dealer, something sounds off.

I feel your pain..........mines been built since the 17th or 18th and I'm also still sitting at 3800.......... :(

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how the cars are being shipped, well, supposedly shipped.

I mean there are cars that were built 1500 behind mine that are already shipping. Is there a problem with some of the cars? I guess it's just like the ABL, they aren't gonna tell us until they're ready, but if the cars are ready, they need to ship them. PERIOD! As many have already stated, they can be anywhere in the continental US in 3 days. SO, WTH are they? And why haven't some of them been invoiced?

Ridiculous. Some say, they're coming, just be patient. I could understand that better if my order was still waiting to be pulled, etc., but I've been on this waiting train now since Feb 10th when my order got pulled. I got an update every couple of days until production started and now everything has just stopped. 6 more days and I'll have been waiting for 2 months. Nothing like the last 2 years though, right? Wrong! This is worse. Knowing that you have a car sitting in a lot that you can't have is excruciating. I'd much rather be waiting on my order to get pulled than this. It's taking the fun out of it. At least before it was exciting to see what was coming. Now it's just pissing me off. GM needs an owner website or some login that will allow everyone to check on their orders and see where they are without having to use the dealer everytime.

This is why I would have gladly paid for factory delivery, something, to not have to wait on someone elses schedule. I've done my part and got everything in order ready to go.

Check in hand to pay for car? CHECK
Personalized license plate in hand? CHECK
Zaino polish kit in hand? CHECK
Insurance? CHECK
Garage completed? CHECK (A friggin' year ago!)
Cleared up other debts? CHECK
Copy of book CAMARO: A LEGEND REBORN? CHECK
2 sets of charged batteries for camera? CHECK

Now invoice and ship my car so I can give you some friggin money.

3-30 is when i got the 4104 I placed my order on october 13th sorry for the confusion, as for jonboy I can't speak for him I don't know, but I have been waiting like everybody else,,,, I come in peace:thumb up:
