Troll? To help you along you should read some of my posts. I am not condescending in tone, or abrasive with language as you have been in your few posts you have made. If you want to be taken seriously, please adjust your tone and choice of words and speak more civilized. Your posts I am afraid lack any real thought and are loud and obnoxious.

When I am spoken to abrasively, I reply abrasively. And when someone comes into the middle of a disagreement and casts their own uninvited and insulting comment, they will be told exactly what they are though of.
But instead of you going and reading through my previous posts, you make ignorant assumptions.
I stand behind what I said, all you people want to say I am stupid for saying the ZL1 WONT cost 70 Thousand Dollars, and I am best to be IGNORED?!?!.
OK.....Three weeks from now, I will come here looking for you, and ask you why none of your comments had any REAL THOUGHT?
Until THAT time, you can take your condescending tone, roll it up into a tight ball.....and SHOVE IT UP YO$# @$$

2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Base Price: Around $47,000
February 9, 2011

We’ve learned that the 550-hp 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, introduced today at the Chicago auto show, will wear a base price of around $47,000 when it goes on sale next February. With the top-spec Camaro boasting an estimated 0-to-60-mph time of four seconds and hardware essentially swiped from the $64,340 Cadillac CTS-V, including its supercharged V-8 and adaptive magnetorheological shocks, a base price of under $50,000 seems like a pretty damn good deal. It’s unknown at this point whether the ZL1 price will include a gas-guzzler tax—it’s possible, since the CTS-V sticker includes a $1300 penalty—so you might want to budget for $48,500 or so when it’s time to sign on the dotted line. For comparison, the car’s natural arch rival, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, costs $49,495, and it doesn’t get hit with a thirst tariff.

Well hopefully C&D knows something we don't.....hopefully. Really, does a 30hp increase over the original predicted 550hp warrant a 7-10k increase in sticker price?? If so, where is the discount for 4100+ lbs?

think it all went sideways at "idiots"...differing opinions ,and they are all just opinions till the price is announced...are what discussions are all about. No need for name calling. I think we can all agree we don't know the price.

True enough. A person would feel a lot better when ordering knowing the car will be in around the "whatever" price range and not the "whatever" and maybe 10k more than that when signing on the dotted line. After all if it's performance we are talking about then there is still the bang for the buck factor. If it's just the fact of driving a ZL1 for the fact of telling people you have one then GM has released all the info one needs to know. Personally, I like the performance category myself.
