problems ur having sound to be user error to be honest. I have never had any of these problems. You have to go pretty far left to get it into reverse and theres even a thing to stop it a little. Would recommend getting either the v8 or a auto and u shouldnt have those problems. Lets pray u shift to 6th instead of reverse though lol

The issue is that CA pumps recycle fumes. There is a hose inside of the main hose that carries the fuel. The outside hose sucks up the fumes that normally leave the tank as you fill up (CA emissions law). If this system starts to suck up fuel it will shut off. Next time your at the pump, shake the hose and you will feel the other hose rattling inside. I have never seen this system in use outside of CA, hence all of the people that experience this problem live in CA. As mentioned before in this thread, you have to put the nozzle in a certain way (push in hard and angle down) and you shouldnt have a problem.

Also, never had that problem at the pump. I'm not sure if others have, but maybe check with your dealer and see if they can take a look at it. Mine fills up fine
This.

How the heck do you even put it into reverse thinking that's first. Seriously. First - Left Forward. Reverse Right (extra effort) Forward. You need to put a little effort to get it into reverse. To confuse that with first is just...

I'll keep it nice.

edit: Didn't realize V6 had different shift pattern.

Plus I'm standing out there holding the gas pump like a doof. And this happens at every gas station not just one.

2) The reverse. I'm running a manual and I can't count the amount of times I'm at a stop light and go for first and here that little beep and see the R in my dash. So I quickly go to neutral and go for first again only to hit reverse again. It seems like its easier to hit reverse once you already have hit it. WHY NO REVERSE LOCK OUT?????

Don't know why but these things are starting to disenchant me to the car....

Sounds like you shifter needs adjusting from underneath the car.

Move to NJ and you won't have that problem as they have to pump your gas. The down side is our taxes are too high!

That issue is from the pump itself, not the car. Use a different station, I get random stations here that wont let me hold the pump wide open and click off. But most do let me do that
