If you aren't there then
my point is that, based on the point of impact, the OP would've had more time to react to the truck coming out into traffic. sucks either way.

Damn that is terrible that happened to you. Make sure you get all new parts and not any used parts too. Go to the doctor to check yourself out. I was in an accident this year, went to the doctor. Had a minor concussion and pulled muscles in my back, the insurance gave me 2400 for pain and suffering. If you haven't gone to the doctor, be sure you go. You could have whiplash and not even know it. My sister was in an accident a few years ago, she was a passenger in the back seat, and her sternum was cracked from the seatbelt and she get 25,000, but her's was a bit more medical than yours. Good luck.

Its obvious I had no chance to avoid the accident,if he was not towing a trailer I may have missed the rear end of the truck.I would would have rather curbed my rim than to have damaged my car.
