Peace, and lets stop the bitching on a car forum! This thread started out so good and its going down the tubes.

Remember this forum is made of Camaro loving enthusiasts from all nations, all religions and all politcal views.

Thanks for your view! I'm not trying to thread jack at all. I was just trying to ask a honest question. I want to set the record straight once and for all - I love the new Camaro and SRT's, G8's, etc. etc. etc. My views are just that, my views; and I was not trying to offend nor take away from what will truely be a great car.

nice ride...i also like challengers. i was planning on a purchasing a magnum SRT8 about 2 years ago, (now have kids), but after seeing the camaro concept at the LA autoshow and transformers, had to have it, and the wife gave me the ok. will order an ss later this fall, hopefully even if Gm goes bankrupt, can still purchase one. congrats.

I also love the new Camaro but then again it is heavy but will definitely be a better track car than the SRT's. If it didn't snow so much here I would own one or the other but right now it's just not smart to have a car that won't be safe on wintery roads. Hence why I have an STI, a beast in all weather conditions, lite and nimble, and fast as hell... My Malibu is my gas saver though - 36 mpg on the highway, and I love it.
Uh cool? and I'll let u know when i get the camaro which one is better on the track :-)

wantonebad09, You mentioned the attention you get with your new challenger. Can you tell me if it's just as high now than it might had been a few months ago. I was just curious as to how long it lasts on a car like that (and camaro). Are you aproached many times about the car? Or do you feal that the excitement is down a bit now that there are a few more on the streets?

I LOVE BOTH CARS I EVEN LIKE THE MUSTANG.
I LIKE THEM ALL CAMARO CHALLENGER AND MUSTANG IT'S JUST GREAT FOR THE HOBBIE AND THE CAR LOVER WORLD.
I STILL MIGHT BE ABLE TO SWING THE CAMARO TOO AS SOON AS THEY HIT DEALERS I'M GONNA TRY AND GET ONE UNCLAIMED HOPFULLY.
HAVE FUN GUYS AND ENJOY THE MOMENT. I KEEP DRIVING BY DEALERS TO SEE IF ANY HAVE COME IN.

I see it pretty much the way you do
I love all three of those cars and always
have since I got a license in the 70s.

I test drove the Challenger and thought it
was a well built car and can't wait to drive a
camaro.

I love my Mustang but it's getting old.
It still drives perfect never gave me a
single problem.

The Ricers are the real enemy :flag2:
