How many still at 2030

My order went from 2000 to 1100 last week after my dealer preferenced his stock order ahead of mine due to the B92 constraint. I just got an email today from gmconnects that the order now is at 2030. Unfortunately B92 has been removed from the order so I have my fingers crossed that the order doesn't get pulled soon, before B92 can be added again.

I wonder if cars configured without the B92 are more likely to get pulled during the constraint or if that has nothing to do with it.

This is just my thinking and no one else's. Wouldn't GM try to keep the flow of ZL1's consistent? If you follow the current 3000 and up ZL1's pattern it was a few day's from 2030 to 2000 then to 5 days to 3000. Now approximately 3 weeks and they are at 3300. I think some 2030's might move to 2000 soon, then 3000 sometime next month.

Hey, I hear you. I hope you are right and my dealer is wrong. Unfortunately we have no option at this point but to sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

I wouldnt remove anything at this point... if b92 was holding you back your dealer would have told you thats the reason they cant place the order... but simply havent been alloacted yet... next month I say a big number of us should move forward... just gotta play the waiting game... since im not getting mine til june i guess ima pay off my 09' R6 and try to get a larger loan... crossing my fingers! lol (:

I can see benefits to waiting... also you have a less chance of being caught up in QC according to a friend of mine who was in the 09 run and my dealer said the same... so maybe its not to bad

Finally figured out why I have not been picked up yet, last month my dealer told me the guy in #1 spot backed out and now I was #1, great news except for the fact that he took the actual #1 spot and left me at #2. Told me yesterday that he thought I was still #1 in his mind. So the actual #1 will be sitting on his floor before mine even gets finished building. Nice.

I am now at 3300 as of yesterday but also went to 2030 along the way. My dealer said that all it indicates is that there was a factory change made in the system. In my case it was as simple as a price change of some kind. I'm not sure if true for all 2030 instances but it typically is when a change happens while at 1100 and does not necessarily mean the car has moved to 2000. In my case it happened on the way from the first 3000 error on it's way back down to 1100 so it was ready to get picked up.

It is a bit of a bumpy road but it all seems to play out in line with your dealers allocations. In the end, they just need to be straight with everyone where you are in the allocation process and how many they have. They have a pretty good idea if they will have a ZL1 allocation in their next consensus period. The only real question is whether YOUR CAR is the one they will order when it opens up. The salesman is not the one that makes the decision. The inventory manager makes the final selection and enters your order. In some dealerships the owner may have a different outlook on what to do but on this car I would assume the inventory manager and upper managers are in sync.

Just get FACTS, stay professional and BE INFORMED from your dealer.
