Well finally settled up with the insurance company from the wreck and now there's 2 new additions to the family 2012 KIA Optima and a 2012 45th anniversary RS convertible! I'll post up pics soon.

Thats a true one of a kind build. That definitely deserves COTW I'd you haven't won it yet!!! I am seriously digging the t-tops. My only concern would be later down the line about leaking or any issues. Other than that it is totally doable. Keep up the good work!!!

Thank you. Yeah idk why I haven't either but it's all good. I have poored a lot of blood sweat and tears into it, but its been my dream car and been a pleasure seeing everyones reactions to it anytime I bring it out to the shows now that it's finished.

did the installer add any support to the hood since its not metal and has the reverse kit ?

I installed this myself and yes I added some internal metal supports along with extra tapped bolts to help support the added weight of the fiberglass hood. I did a complete write-up including pics and sent to Lupe when we completed the install. He should have them posted on here somewhere.

oh okay. i will ask him for the write up. i have been on the fence with pairing the kit with a not metal hood , but you just helped me.
