Are gas prices really significantly different now that they have been the entire production life of the Camaro?

I only drive about 300 miles a year, so I should be fine to fill it once this summer, if I decide to keep it. Kinda bored with it at this point.

Also gas price more closely follows Brent which is used by most of the Gulf refineries, that is close to $120.

well if you buy bottled water by the bottle, technically thats mroe expensive than a gallon of gas. I have a 95 honda accord for my DD. Soon I'll upgrade it to something else. Im not worried about gas. Though making $50 an hr why should I worry?

If gas prices were a consideration from the start, I would've never bought a Camaro!

Why would you consider gas cost when you know you really want to drive it ... HARD !!

Live the dream.. don't let it collect dust over a few bucks in gas!

I know, why worry about it if you can afford a Camaro? Some of us don't like to give our money away on fuel if they can drive something else that is same distance, same speed at a lower cost in our pockets.
By this thought, this person should never own a Camaro regardless of the price of gas. If gas was $1, it would still cost more to drive a Camaro vs. a civic. Thus, that person would be 'giving money away on fuel when they could drive the same distance for less in another car'. So the question should not be regarding gas prices, it should be regarding mpg efficiency of the Camaro vs. other cars.

Wont stop driving. Its dd but only 16 miles a day to work. 4.30/gal in socal. Oil today at around 106/barrel, about $12 worth due to Iran, whose economy is now in the toilet because of there stance on Nuclear and the sanctions. We'll see if they give in or not.

This is a question about fuel and people not driving. Not for you to state for me to not drive my Camaro. I will continue to drive mine, as for you , when you get a Camaro then your opinion will be listened to.
