Nope not them. I drive around NY up state and the city. Only place I have gotten a ticket in the 2 years that I have had my car is in Bronx NY. Not by NYPD cop but by the ticket patrol. Their only job is to drive around and give tickets. They will write a ticket for anything. I got one twice. I have suction cup plate to front bumper when I park in the bronx to avoid ticket.
I cant believe they bring in more then $35K a year in tickets each to make more then their salary.
My plate is suction cupped in front windshield so not like I dont have one its there. Easy to see. When behind cop it is high and not low hidden behind his bumper..

Never had one cop give me ticket it for it.. And they have seen it and asked me about it..
Well now I think about it my dad did get ticket for it once but state trooper gave him ticket for everything. He must of been new thinking hey SGT look how good i am doing. But they all got dismissed except speeding ticket..

We have them here,too . They cruise the mall and plazas . They are not even cops,they are town employees who drive copcars (sans the shotgun).They only give out parking and expired inspection tix.

They got them up there too.. NY city funny.. they have COP (NYPD), Meter Maids , and then there are these like traffic enforcement people for inspection, and double parking and anything else they can get..

This is why i am done with NYc and big cities like that. So many retarded laws that you have no choice but to follow beause some 20 people in power think it is a good idea.. Like front plate. Tons of states do just fine without them. Tint law being 70% (camaro factory level) in NY. Most states are 20% to 40%..
Now government making MPG regulation 50mpg average for manufacters. Basically taking away your right to own a sports car. Even hybrids barely make that.. So if alot of people dont spent a fortune on an electric car we wont have sports cars any more..
