My salesmen emailed me back this morning and told me that my order is progressing and that I am at event code 3000 and that I have a production date of 5/19.

He thinks that the car should be here within 6 weeks of that date!

I haven't bothered him lately. But this is what he said the last time we shot e-mails back and forth:

I have been checking every other day to se if we have an invoice so it iwl have an ETA.
I have a vin which means it is built but I do not have an invoice which means it has not been sent.
Once we have the invoice we can expect delivery within 14 days.
I am betting we see it before mid May.

But since then, there has been at least one SS delivery since then.

You saw RobbRock's post, right? He posted pictures of his 2SS/RS Black on Black L99 Sunroof.

Why is that? haha You just ordered a couple weeks ago.

I don't really mind that much, as long as I get it in May. If another paycheck comes along before I get my car, then my down payment will be larger.

I just hope that it doesn't come in on a Monday when I'm going to be stuck at work all week and wont have a chance to come pick it up. My work schedule is hectic sometimes.

Yeah. That's a sweet ride. Makes me wish i would've chosen the ground effects. But it's ok.
I know what you mean about bugging the dealer. I haven't bugged him since i ordered my Camaro.

Yeah ground effects would look good... but it's pricey. That's what turned me off... and the fact that there are a few mean ass "dips" in the roads that I travel all the time. You know the type - where you can see differential scrapings on the asphault. I'm afraid that I'd ruin the front end.

Yeah. The price stopped me as well as the slope in my driveway would KILL me. And i really don't want to leave it outside.
