Go for it! I am 67 years old and ordered a 2SS, RS, 6M in RJT and polished wheels. Just got word yesterday that my car has been built, Vin # 106861, so expect to be cruising around town soon. It is doing things like this that keep us young!

If your heart tells you you gotta have it, then get it. Life is to be enjoyed and it should be enjoyed at any age.

I am 62. Occasionally people see me with a hot rod car, Chevelles, Camaros, Corvettes and they used to say "you are having a mid life crisis!"

I would respond - I must have had a mid life crisis starting when I was 18, because I have had a hot rod car since I was 18 - hope to always have one!

My advice - you only live once!

When I was in my early 20's I lived across the street from a 75 year old who bought and drove a brand new 84 Camaro Berlinetta. Do it....................!

Hey, we all have to grow old.

But none of us have to grow up.

I remember when my grandfather was 72, he bought a bright red Volkswagen Baja Beetle. Had the white rally wheels, and a stinger exhaust off that old air cooled motor. Loud stripes down the door. Hand crank sunroof. He passed in 1993, but because of that (and many other lessons he gave me) he's still my idol to this day! And I'll drive cars like the camaro til I pass.

Nope, you're not too old.
