Rotofab makes one specifically for the eforce.

or you can cut/fabricate an already existing one (i've seen some guys do it with the CAI)

When I reinstalled the crankbolt. I put the car in 4th gear with the e-brake on. I also had a friend push on the brake pedal while I torqued it. No problems doing it like that.

Yep. I pulled and installed a new crankbolt without a flywheel holder. I put the car in gear and ebrake. Didn't have anyone around to step on the brake, but it still worked. Of course if you have an A6, it is a different story.

I installed the ZR1 plugs while I had much apart and especially before that heater core assembly hose went on.

For anybody who knows, Step 57 has you remove the stud for the ground. What did you guys do with the 2 electrical harness clamps that were behind that stud. The manual does not make mention, but I know your not going to sandwich them behind the tensioner bracket in step 58.

Well working off and on, I have left to do the electrical harnesses, PCV hoses, and CAI. I was hoping to get my RX catchcan before I get too much further. Here is a pic of oil that came out of my intake I took off. Mileage is right at 10K. Just another testament to how much these LS3 motors need a catchcan.

I've got the fuel rails installed, the JRE upgrade is a great idea with the exception of too long a fuel line for the right aft bank, what do you the extra??? Can you remove the fittings and cut more off????

We make the hoses the same length so the fuel is distributed evenly to each rail.

The Right side hose should leave the Y block and go toward the drivers side then loop back to the Pass side.

It is very smooth when done.

Ted.

Well, I took a day off work to finish this project, it took some doings to get the car's cooling ststem burped and properly serviced. Supercharger system is fine, its got an electric water pump. No gas, coolant, or oil leaks or drips, it was after dark by the time I got the engine's coolant cycling in the radiator. The wife and I eased the car out to a local eatery (5mi) keeping the rpm below 2500 (till I get a scheduled dyno tune Monday) Once there, after shutting the car off, we could see some light smoke coming from under the hood. Checking, I saw it was coming from the firewall behind the supercharger but it seemed to quit after I opened the hood. (S/C break-in I thought) We get back home and I back in to the garage, there is the smoke again and this time something else. A drip of oil every foot down my driveway, oh man am I sick at the stomach. I checked the oil level, one qt. low, the leak is somewhere behind the s/c and dripping on the rt exhaust collector. I may not even touch the car today. It ugly to see a quart of oil that has been sprayed under your car.
