Haha I noticed this as well! It is not just your imagination! Trust me...I have noticed a ton more people tryingto make eye contact with me...literally revving the engine looking at me and then flooring it while I laugh. I also have noticed people racing around me to try and edge me on I guess..Never works though lol....

I had my 1Lt for almost 3 years and really only experienced something like this once when a guy driving a Mustang felt the need fly by me on a 45 mph road going about 80......until yesterday.

Was driving with my kids and wife and this guy in a Mustang 5.0 kept reving his engine, speeding up fast then slowing down and after about 3 miles of this he ends up stopped at a light in front of us so I pulled out my IPhone and took pics while I laughed. I told my wife that I was going to post pics on here (of course she didn't know what I was talking about). LOL

if that occurs i usually just smoke them straight off the red light as my v8 shoots me out there quick

I SOOOO disagree with many of the posts!!! LOL!

I've owned many bad ass cars and trucks.

65 chevy II 800 hp (sprayin)
94 rx7 500+ hp
69 chevy P/U built 327
05 2500 dodge *diesel* 600 hp / 1000 lbs torq
etc
etc
etc

NOTHING has drawn attention like my 2010 SS

Not even the chevy II, purging the tanks at a light.

I got tired of driving it until more of them hit the road.

Put a spoiler and/or fart can on the rear of any car out there. Doesn't matter what it is and many of the owners appear to think they have Instant Race Cars.
