In China, manual labor is cheaper than robotics.

What you talk about in your post is exactly why I hate Walmart. With Walmart, all local money goes to Arkansas, into the pockets of the Walton family. They then pay their Chinese suppliers.
No insult taken. I agree with you 100%. It's just reality. The one good thing about WalMart is the e-mails I get with the pictures of 'the people at WalMart'! Dare I say they don't look like Camaro owners

BMW also thought that way when they built a plant somewhere in the USA , then they where bitching that the labor pool and quality were not up to sniff .

Would you be willing to pay a premium for parts made in the United States of America?

Talking about Wal-Mart, (and I know they maybe cheaper right now)I been saying for a long time. If people keep shopping at Wal-Mart all the time, and not going to other store's where they can buy the same product (maybe pay more for it) them store's will eventually shut down. Guess what will happen then, Wal-Mart will jack the prices up so high you won't be able to stand it, and guess what, you will have to pay for it, or drive to who know's where to shop. So people better start shopping at other place's before it's too late.

I guess it comes down to German labor vs. American labor. Lets start the discussion there. After WWII, the Germans were desperatly poor, while here in America, we were prosperous. Blah, Blah, Blah, Yadda, yadda, yadda, the gemans became focused, and we Americans became lazy and complacent.
