You should have keyed the side of her head and said "oh it's nothing...just some skin. Here's a few bucks for a band aide"...ok, so maybe you shouldn't do that, but it would be kinda funny.
You handled it right. Maybe she'll pull her head out of her rectum and think before she assumes everyone is as thoughtless and inconsiderate as she is.

I tried it out on a few chips and scratches over this past weekend...It does pretty good, but don't expect MUCH, you'll still see the scratches in the clear coat in the sunlight. Still, if you didn't know they were there, you'd never know by just looking. Kinda pricey though...$54.00 for the deluxe kit....

Long story short, he just sold it with less than 5K miles on it. (He got an SUV, more space for family trips).

Leaving me asking, in 2 1/2 years, that Camaro basically sat in the garage. What was the purpose? Why did he buy it?

I think that now whenever I read about people that keep theirs locked away.

More power to you, but I don't get it.

me either, brother...

THIS STORY IS AWESOME. INSTEAD of being dented and "not knowing who did it",

you actually GOT the owners insurance and SHOWED HER what she did, so she can SEE point blank how her actions damaged your car.

TO ME TALKING TO THE OWNER of the car who hit you is the BEST part of this story.

WE ARE SURROUNDED MY MINDLESS ZOMBIES who drive cars that are PIECES OF CRAP, who could CARE LESS about other peoples property.

you did good.

The reason you do that, is so that you have "one single car" that is mostly brand new. It's fun to "poke your head in your garage and see a brand new car. This car can just be used for "fun only". (Like having a ZL1 there.)

Has anyone asked JAY LENO if he drives all his cars? I bet he doesn't. in fact, I bet Jay has cars he has NEVER driven at all not even once.

But he enjoys knowing "its there". This same concept applies when there is a car out there and you just "have to have one". It doesn't mean you plan to put high miles on it and leave it at walmart and park it outside of a gym where a person late for an exercise class will park next to you and dent your car.

Also, if you are unsure you plan to keep it, you might as well keep the miles down and keep it looking new for someone else.

The guy who traded his Camaro for an SUV might have been contemplating a divorce. but then changed his mind and got an SUV.

Id explain to her how a monthly $500+ car payment will change your view on how you treat other peoples cars. Judging by the year she hasnt had a car payment in a while!

I just make sure I do it in a part of the lot that will not fill up.
Parking across two spaces will guarantee some beater driving sociopath will mess up your car.

I cracked a rib in the Harvey's parking lot one day when a driver in a 70's Lincoln whipped it into a spot next to me launching a friggin buggy at my truck FAST. I jumped in between the door and it hit me instead. I did it before thinking. Bruised and pissed but dent free.

As I was about to cuss the driver out and ready for a fight, a possibly already deceased woman (80's) maybe popped out and apologized as I was trying to catch the wind that the buggy knocked out of me. I did not have the heart....I have respect.

Everyone called me stupid. I call it dedicated!!!
