Yanno, you throw out (O.P.) commets like that on this forum and then you gets what you gets! Seriously, what kind of reaction did you expect?

Yeah, its a heavy car. Would I rather be in an accident in this car or a '69? Chances are much better for survival in this car. Much safer, more efficient, and every bit as good looking.

Perhaps the O.P. oughta look at a Civic or some other similar light car which may bemore suitable to individual tastes.

You guys crack me up. Thanks for putting a big on my face today. OP You have a prefect right to your opinion, but posting it on a site like this is sort of like putting down Tennessee while in Nashville. You are going to get a big "if your heart ain't in Dixie then get your azz out", sort of reply from most folks who respond.

op, i understand where your coming from. i wish i had a picture of my face at the exact moment i came off the last corner at putnam on my first session behind that audi that was holding me up through the turns to watch him pull me down the straight. i was confused as hell. my car should stomp this guy i thought. i was wrong. i was way better through the turns but the car lacks in straght line performance because of one thing. its at least 300 pounds too heavy.
we have a great little car but its just a car. with positives and many negatives too guys.
op, i will say that after springs, sways, wider lighter wheels, lower tires, exhaust, and a vararam, it actually does feal much more planted. one of my big peves was how nervous the car feals stock when you really get it in yaw.

Handy little tool to have if you're a rude, classless, hateful little thing like me-- you might hurt someone's feelings on the internets and then they'll need it

I try to help where I can

THIS. Could we aptly call General Discussion the cesspool of C5?
