Hey all,

This is my first post after having been reading this forum for awhile. You all get everyone "'all camaro'ed up", and I enjoy the rush the computer can give...scary. This thread seemed fitting for me to post my first...

The first 24 hrs. will be a blur...regardless...but here is how the turn key driving off the lot will go. First, reading about the colors, I am down to two..either bumblebee effects or the darkest grey/sliver they finally unveil.

But when I turn the key, with my father-in-law following me (he raced a '68 camaro, and restored one, RS/SS)...All I know is, I will have my bumblebee/camaro shirt on and my FIRST SONG JAMMING will be SECOND TO NONE, the song from The Transformers (GREATEST MOVIE) while driving off the lot.

Because this car will be SECOND to NONE! Especially fitting if it is a bumblebee...

After that, the fun will just continue on.....a blur to enjoy.

ps...tag ur it...i look forward to getting some camaros together owning the road in TX!

After I get it home and wash, wax, and detail it then I'm going to drive around some interstates to familiarize myself with the tranny.
Then, when its just evening, I'm going to take it to this stretch of beach with a street running along it that's near my house and isn't heavily driven. I'm going to sit in the turnaround area, facing down the straight line of road, with the sun setting over the water and the lights from all the casinos across the bay. The windows will be down as I listen to the hum of the engine for a while.
Then, when I'm good and ready, I'm going to play "Open Road Song" by Eve 6 and, when it gets to a certain part of the song, I'll pop the clutch, peel out, and race down road just feeling the cool air.

Now that we have had our first delivery on the site (and since this thread has been silent for the last year or so) I figured I'd revive it so that everyone can share what they plan on doing once they get their car.

I've got a nearly 600-mile drive from Tucson to San Diego. It'll probably be night time so I'll spend the night somewhere in the middle and enjoy the rest of the ride home in daylight.
