Gt Styling is coming out with a blackout center panel for the Camaro to cover that pimple! It will be available in the next 2-3 weeks.

Keep 'em guessing.. if they ACTUALLY DONT KNOW this is a Camaro!

(Same for the front...on the SS version replace the bowtie in the center of the grill with a large SS emblem...then there's no doubt when you look into your rearview mirror that the monster Camaro is behind you.)
Not trying to be "over the top negative" Mark but that idea sucks.
Why you ask?

"put a faux gas cap on the rear (just like the Stangs)"

That's why.

They tried a lot of different things. What they had to settle on is what you see due to government standards (according to Mr. Settlemire). They didn't care for it knowing how popular the concept's hidden lights were.

Where else would you put them? The taillights look too good being all red in most people's opinion.

To each his own but complaining about that is complaining about the whole car IMO*.
I don't think it's unreasonable for someone with a SS to want SS badges on the front and rear. There is no other SS badges on the exterior of the new Camaros 'if' you get the RS package. That is WRONG in my opinion, since the SS badging should take precedence over an RS badge. In fact, historically, SS badging was always on the front grill and back of the SS models, LARGE and in BOLD, with the camaro placard on right side of the rear. RS models had the RS under that, and on the right side of the front grill. Stock PLAIN Camaros had the Chevy emblem where the SS emblem was. Chevy has taken the old approach, and is badging our SS's as..... PLAIN Camaros. Again, that is WRONG in my opinion.

The SS was a statement back then, and it should be a statement now. Yes, I have a Camaro... But MY Camaro is f-ing BAD A'SS'.....

I didn't like the bowtie on the 69's, but for some reason i like it on the car. At any rate, the first gen's had SS badges(when that option was selected) instead of the bowtie, or Camaro badge. I would think that would be great for the 5th gen. The new SS badges are too small also.
