I've thought the same thing all summer so far and thought it was just me. I'm going to make an appt with my dealer asap after reading comments that it's freezing people out and that they put it on low. I need to put it on high (which is crazy loud), just to make it tolerable and that's only when it's around 90. At no point am I thinking I need to turn it down since it's too cold.

over 55mph and it's more efficient to keep the AC on than the windows down due to the drag.

Mine seems to take quite a while to get cold, and it feels almost non existent during low rpm/low speed driving in the city. Works great driving down the freeway though.

Don't help much with the top down either.

Mine works great. It's almost 100 here today and I was driving around town with the windows down and AC on.

Guess I'll have to head to the dealer. Mine works, but as some of you have said, it takes a while and even on high, it sure won't run you out.

i too have noticed my AC works decent, but not spectacular...that is, until i hit the highway. once i'm going over 55mph, i have to take it off max AC and turn it down a click or two. (over 100F here)

it only takes about 45-60 seconds for my car to start blowing cool air, but when cruising at low speed and RPMs, it does seem a bit warmer than it should be. with more speed and RPMs, it'll get to the perfect temperature on max AC when it's 110F outside.

most likely becuase you have a lot more air moving over the condenser at higher speeds. I know it has fans, but that hardly matches the air ram at 55 mph.

Interesting to read the responses - I'm constantly having to turn down my AC because mine gets too cold. And I like it 66-68 in my house, so I'm used to colder air.

I'm sorry to hear that some of your cars don't cool very well, as mine will RUN OUT OUT!!! and its been right at 100 degs already!! even in the afternoon, and I get in my car that has been sitting in the sun, after the initial colling down, I turn it down to only 2 or 3 clicks off the bottom, and it will freeze you out and I will need to ensure I donm't have the air blowing directly on me. so obviously I have no complaints!

Over the top happy with my A/C. It will freeze you out if you don't lower the temp after 10 min.
Had the re-flash done and all is OK.
Maybe your refrigerant level needs checking?
