If gas goes way high like last summer, does it make dealers less inclined to charge over msrp?? Will it slow down SS orders? Will there be less demand for the Camaro vs. micro boxes??

It's crazy to say, but as Gas prices go up, the difference between regular and premium doesn't seem as bad. Think about it:

When Regular gas is $2.00 gallon, then premium is around 2.25, right? 19 gallon tank and it costs $38.00 regular and $42.75 for premium, a $4.75 difference or 13%.

But when Regular goes to $4.00 a gallon Premium is around $4.35-$4.40. Even at the higher price it's: $76.00 vs $83.60, a $7.60 difference. At $75.00 to fill up, am I really gonna worry about that extra $7 bucks like I would $4 at $38?

At least it wont be $5 like it was two years ago. Plus I'm glad I live on the Gulf coast where gas prices don't go up $1 overnight lol

I thought the whole point of the Camaro SS is that it was a working class hero car. If you don't have to worry about gas prices then maybe the Corvette is for you.
