And some of us women have those toys AND the Camaro!!! (still waiting for Susan to get her Camaro, Tim...)

On a serious note about the topic, OP, if you're spending money on mods, and neglecting to shower your fiancee with affection, it's understandable that she wants a little give and take. And, if you have the resources, why not get her gifts to match the mods?? If she's being nitpicky, or sounds truly jealous of the car, then you need to re-evaluate the whole situation.

Bought my wife a building, had them build out a business in it. Slept nights in the business when we first opened it. I figure by the rules stated by OP she owes me about 10 more Zl1's. Been married 28 years, and we support each other entirely. Whenever I bring something I purchased home she says another thing for the sale. You women wind up owning everything anyway, outlast us by several years. Check any obituary. Survived by his widow.

At the last Harley shop i worked at some customers would specify their bill be written up a certain way for their spouse's approval.

You know, they had serious front end issues and wound up with chrome forks, or their engine needed major oil leaks fixed and suddenly it also has 40 extra horsepower.

Hilarious, sometimes their wives would point at something on the bike and ask "did you have these before?" busted.
