They have the people they feel are qualified and necessary to do the task before them. I don't think the rate of production has any impact on how soon the 'QC' cars get shipped. Let's see where they are in the next week or two, then if they aren't shipped, I too will have reason to get upset again.

If we were back in the 70s or 80s, before the internet, we would have nothing to bitch about other than hounding our dealers every day to see if the car came in. WE would know little about this car. Mostly what has been in magazines. We would know nothing of the large number of cars that had been bayed for QC, and BTW, no cars are going to Pontiac, they are all being taken care of right at the plant in Oshawa. So realisticly we are fortunate to know what is going on even if it may not be what we want right now. In a month or so you probably won't see any complaints on here of people waiting long periods for their cars.

Anyone with a lower VIN has room to gripe a little, but if your VIN is higher than that, then you'll just have to wait your turn.

(Nice sleuthing, CWI....can't wait to meet up with you and your Camaro and go for a nice long drive!)
Hate to hear you still don't have your car, but I think anyone that has waited 9+ weeks since car was built has room to gripe. As for all cars shipping in 10 days, I wouldn't get my hopes up. If they can get these cars out in 10 days, why have our cars sat for 9+ weeks in qc and not shipped before this.

So we are 3 days now past the promised 10 days (from 5/27).

Have all the cars been shipped from QC?

Mine hasn't.

They've been "shipped." In other words, they are no longer on "hold," but just sitting somewhere waiting to be placed on a train and then a truck. My Camaro has not arrived either although the dealership has had my invoice for almost two weeks.

Please folks - a lot of effort has been done by members of this site and also GM to get these cars moving and in your hands.

We've asked GM to add resources to resolve the QC issues sooner and they've complied. We've asked GM to communicate to us better and they've complied. They gave us a date and let's please give them the opportunity to come through for us. Now they did not say it would be in your driveway in 10 days so let's give them a chance to ship the cars (however long that may usually take).

I also expect one or two straglers so don't flip out if your car is the one!

Resistance is futile GM will comply, we are the Camaro5 we will add GM's uniqueness to our own - resistance is futile.

How about some genuine data based on VIN movement? We lost visibility to that a loonnng time ago. It was the only thing that offered up any pacification.
Please watch Larry and Matts spreadsheet for movement over the next few days.
