Air freshener? Yuck! I get my vehicles detailed once a year at the dealer. Smells like new every time and holds up until the next year.

I buy ones from a detail supply shop. They come in a little plastic package i think there called autofresh or something. They have on called new car smell. I pop one open throw it under my seat everytime i detail the inside. Ive had a couple friends say that it still smells like new car while getting in so i guess they do there job.

Most states have a law for obstructed view forbidding anything in the line of view of the windshield other than a rear view mirror or of course tax and inspection stickers. Seldomly enforced.

I actually prefer the old red "Spice" scented trees. I think NAPA is the only place to find them now days. I hang mine on the hand brake handle. It's mostly out of sight and no other place to hang it. Guess I could stick a black plastic towel hook on the top of a kick panel out of sight.
