I take so much crap for having a v6. My reply usually consists of "What do you have?" That usually shuts them up...

We have a couple EVO's here in FL that show up at the track and run 8-9sec in the 1/4 mile.....and these are street cars. They make $$$ on the streets of Miami.

I'm not power hungry so the V6 is fine with me. It's the most powerful car I have owned..... Well maybe my 65 Corvette was a little more powerful, but not by much.

Haha I am kidding! income varies for people and personal preference isn't always based on that. I really want a supercar someday but I am impressed by the V6 Camaro performance and have started buying mods for it. I don't think I will ever want to trade up to a V8, however I really want a sunroof, so I am thinking of trading up for a 6 with that. This is my daily driver not a weekend warrior so to me the 6 is just better in every aspect. |

I think the thing that gets most people is that these cars are so synonymous with american muscle/drag strip etc. that people can't really comprehend or accept someone saying they just use the car for their daily commute, Thus, the whole "go big or go home" response. I do think, to some extent, that this is justified by the overall history of this particular car, although still slightly unreasonable. |

I've said it many of times, I don't need 426hp for my daily commuter...the LLT/LFX have enough balls when I pop the throttle occasionally to give me a great feeling...I can afford all the way to ZL1 if I want..hell I've had more mustangs and corvettes in recent past then you can shake a stick at..but I'm at the point of practicality now...would it be nice to have the SS? Sure! Do I need one for ever day driving? Nah...and if I go to the drag strip with my lil 6banger sure it's slower than some cars but faster than others...

My friend has borrowed my V6 and I borrowed his L99. He said to me I didnt expect the V6 to have all this power.
I told him (Im really disappointed with the V8). My mods are below and he has a Borla Cat back plus K&N CAI. I was thinking about a trade, but after trying it I changed my mind. V6 is a great car

Here we go again, I just got an infraction for my thoughts on this! Stop crying... love your v6 and I hope so you got it, not my cup of tea! My infraction states that no bashing on either model, but everytime I see one of these threads it sounds like bashing! Stop making them, love your ride and end of story.
