Just remember its YOUR cash and you will decide how much of it they get
DONT leave with the car the first time you go in. Tell them you want to think about it over night. Dont be in a hurry and dont tell them you love the car or the price will not move. tell them your more looking than anything and your curious.

Welcome. Good luck.
You have a lot of good advice already. I've never been good at haggling. I see what I want and it comes home with me..

Nice! Let us know if you have any questions before hand! Are you taking it for a test drive?

Good luck with your car shopping just to put into perspective I purchased a 2010 2LT/RS brand new fresh off the truck in October 2009 (still during the high demand time for the Camaro) for $28,500 sticker was just under $33k I was given GM Supplier pricing.

2LT/RS, A6, Sunroof, Polished wheels.

Definitely finance through a credit union. I joined one just to get a good rate on my Camaro. Dealer financing rate offered to me was about 8%, through my "regular" bank, it was about 5% -- but signing up with a local credit union, I scored 2.35%.

Costco does not sell cars but refers you to a partnered dealership and the program is nation wide.

I second the Costco auto program. Below is what it came out on the Costco site. So the dealers low Internet price $30,536 is still above the Invoice cost of the car.

Costco price is usually $500 below invoice price.

Invoice ...... .... MSRP
Base $24,730...... $25,760
Options $4,783........ $5,435
Destination $900........... $900
Total $30,412...........$32,095

Click on link to a Camaro speced out same as the Eldorado dealers car.
http://www.costcoauto.com/GM/researc...?trimid=350655

Plus Costco has a $500 gift card after purchase.

Wow! Thats great. When I bought my Mazda the guy gave me employee pricing, 3.9% (with poor credit) and $2K more than what I owed on my truck. I really lucked out! I'm going to look at the 2LT tomorrow too.
