So like a normal person would I typed some of those part numbers into gm parts direct and found nothing. Am I missing something? These pics got me excited.

What do you think about the Chevrolet Performance V-6?

http://emails.generalmotors.com/w/we...H&sc=&k=146LZ8

This article talks about some of the new vehicles in the camaro lineup like the hot wheels edition and the copo convertible. But it also mentions another vehicle i found to be interesting.

"The Chevrolet Performance Camaro V-6 utilizes a 1LE rear differential with a 3.91 ratio, the 1LE's full suspension setup, and disc brakes off the ZL1. On the outside, a unique performance design features a white paint job, and sits on 20-inch black wheels."

Seems pretty cool! What do you think?

I love it! I want them to offer retroactive upgrades for the suspension parts/wheels etc Like they're doing with the 1LE.

This looks very nice other than the decal on the windshield and the decal on the bottom (which reminds me of the decal found at the bottom of most v6 mustangs). Since people are comparing the 1LE to the boss, I wonder how this might compare with a v6 mustang performance package.

I even called the local dealership & gave them the parts # off the sign from the SEMA sign for the 1LE suspension kit. They looked it up & found nothing. They even checked what they said was their "brand new catalog" & it was not there. I'm not sure if it was the same catalog shown in a thread on C5 with these new kits/parts. They will probably not get them until after SEMA. Hopefully Becky or one of the other dealers on here will let us know when thses items are available.

Probably. The 1LE packages uses the same springs as the standard SS package. My guess is they just used the stock V6 springs when they upgraded that car. So your going to get stock V6 ride height even with the 1LE suspension kit. in the video below they actual explain that if you want 1LE ride height and you have a v6 you'll have to buy V8 coil springs.

SS Brembo's..................Check!
1LE Suspension..............Check!
NPP Dual Mode Exhaust...Check!
GM V6 Front Splitter........Check! (will install next week)
GM Strut Tower Brace......Check!

Well I'm getting close to this concept V6 car.

I don't think I'll be doing the 1LE gears as I have a automatic.

The next mod will be the IPF S/C kit that should help me put down 400+rwhp to the ground.

Thx PYROLYSIS!

I think I'm going to add the ZL1 upper grill. Same as the hot wheels V6 version + GM V6 front "dusk" splitter + ZL1 side rockers.

This should complete the "what if" V6 performance GM OEM build I'm going for.
