I too was wondering about the windshield. I saw somewhere in my manual, that said if you replace the windshield, you'll need to notify the installers that you have a HUD. Somewthing about it have a phosphor coating to reflect. Did you put the switch for the HUD in the spot where it is on the Camaros that come from the factory with the HUD already on them? I take it you can adjust it's brightness and position as well

Finally ordered my HUD. Just waiting for it to get here. My wife is looking at me crazy because everytime the UPS truck drives by, I'm hoping he'll stop at my house. But jokes on her, she doesnt know she's helping me with the removal/install.

OMG, so much work!! I would never even think of trying it.. you must really love that car,
did you ever see the universal ones on ebay you just plug into your diagnostic port and sit on top of the dash?? some of them are pretty cool cause they have multi-color displays. |
