I should be driving 2SS/RS in Germany by August. I have to wait for the military to ship it for me. I plan to keep it, but it would be hard to turn down making a huge profit.

in a way im happy they are not going to be made readily available over here, im going to go thru all the effort of buying shipping taxing modifying for UK so dont want to be seeing them everywhere!
like someone already mentioned, even mustangs are as rare if not rarer than ferraris over here. And ill be importing for the cost of around $44,000 for a 2LT, which isnt too bad for an awesome car that pretty much no one else will have or have seen before |

So nice to see interest and appreciation of a car born of US design and thinking. After all these enthusiasts are from a part of the world laden with great automobiles. Hope it lives up to your expectations. We are sure proud of it here accross the pond. I guarantee it will definitely get some admiring glances in CH |

Well, the interest has always been there for me, and I have to admit, the recent retro design that American cars offer is simply awesome. Very raw and pure. Yet, noone expects the quality of a Mercedes or Audi when getting an American car over here. It's more the novelty factor of being unique that drives people in Europe to get out of their way to purchase a 25k Dollar car for more than twice the price.
For that reason I once chose to drive a Chrysler PT Cruiser instead of the many VW Golfs, or Audis, or Opels or what have you. Those cars you can see at every corner. An American car you don't. That's the appeal for many of us Europeans... Was the quality of craftsmanship anywhere near that of similar priced European cars? Hell no. Was the smile chiseled into my face while driving a more unique car here in Europe genuine? Hell yeah! |

for sale Europe
I can offer you a 2lt in europe silver.
One of the first ordered. It's about 45000 $ ( taxes and registration included ) . could be less than 35 000 Euro depending on exchange. The car is new at 50 km. My business went to crap right after ordering it. It's in Bremenhaven boxed. |

Ouch those are some steep prices, but I guess that's the price you pay for an import over there.
I feel very lucky that I can go to any Chevy dealership in AZ and see a Camaro when ever I want.

The reason why all US cars are so expensive over in Europe is because of taxes.
I used to live in Sweden and I have imported probably about 20 cars from the US, Vettes, Mustangs, Vipers etc. You have to pay 25% tax on the cars value, and an additional 10% duties on the cars value + shipping. But you don't pay US sales tax. Then add on shipping (1500USD), rebuild of lights and indicators (1500-2000USD) and the whole registration process. Btw, there are about 50 new 2010 Camaro's in Sweden now |

I have industrial machinery sales and representation: mostly construction, moving and lifting machinery. With the 80-90% drop in credit , so went the building projects from family houses to state supported projects, folowed by the machinery sales...
As for the car: 34900 $ final price 2lt rs silver, engine heater, mats, smoker package 3500 $ transport to Constanta container , air bags etc - anti scratching.... presently it's in Bremenhaven at 38000$ = 33000 Euro , belongs to dealer. than add: 10 % customs tax - duty 19 % VAT customs engine polution tax for the v6 is 6000 Euro aprox 7800 $, but this is only in Romania , BulgARIA HAS 300$ TAX, Holland I hear way more ... I haven't checked yet for lights as I planned to do it in Germany, but I expect another 1500 $. Do the math: yes almost 60.000$ . |
