If you read the instructions for assembly, the sound is normal. This also tells you that it's installed correctly.

Please excuse my ignorance here, but why do you have check valves in your lines? All you need to do is run one line from center of can to rear valve cover and one of the outer lines goes to top of intake, and the other would be capped off. I have had mine installed per instructions for 20K miles now with no leaks, and have drained
5-6 FL OZ of oil out so far. That is a close guess by the way, as I threw the first coke bottle away when I moved.

My suggestion would be to do a simplified installation like pictured above, and see what happens. I hope you get it figured out soon.

You have it correct now. Also, we send the lines extra long as some mount in different locations or rout them differently and we had complaints so we send it longer than needed. To cut to length, wrap masking tape around the spot to be cut and a bandsaw or cutoff wheel is the best. A hacksaw will work but is not as neat of a cut do to the stainless braid in the line.

The checkvalve prevents backflow at WOT when the intake manifold has no useable vacuum to pull. It allows pressure to still flow in, but prevent pushing oil from the can back into the crankcase vent. It also controls the flow rate when the fixed orfice is drilled. You can run one w/out the checkvalve just fine as well as no other cans come with one, just a added feature but Trav is correct.

The braided hoses aren't included in the assembly instructions

I don't really want to cut this hose because the one end has a nice rubber tube on it. Can I buy a a inline check valve braided tube as short as the non inline check valve hose?

Thanks for telling me this is correct. Hopefully the CEL goes away and it catches something.

Yes. Just email us the length and we can make them up. Will exchange them for the ones you already have.

Do you see the center plug in the can? The hose that was there had an inline checkvalve and now it doesn't.

Basically the hoses with the engine intake and the rear pass have been swapped.

The third hose going to the back is capped off for now, but plugged in and is a better seal then in the first pic, but im going to see in RX can make me a custom nut for the third unused outlet.

The bulges in the middle of the lines are check valves? Why are they there if the can has check valves built into it?

Is this Rube Goldberg working now?

Sorry man, this is a simple setup. I feel like you made it complicated to the point where you now have problems. I would go back to a "normal" V6 can setup with 2 "normal" hoses but that's just me.

The AN fittings have no internal checkvalves so this was ordered as a dual valve so we incorporate inline checkvalves in the lines.

He has it hooked up correctly now so when he checks it next expect to see what he caught.
