I guess this must have been the inspiration for the 2010-2013 Camaro tail lights

I'm not going to lie I hate the change's to the tail lights. To be perfectly honest its a epic fail as far as i'm concerned. IMO they should have done something along the same lines as the new vette. How that change got the green light honestly shocks me. This is the direction they should have went imo.

I must agree. Right now I am not fond of the change. Mostly I think it removes from the car a bit of its distinctiveness. I'm sure it will grow on me, but I see nothing here to get me to trade in my '11. Perhaps the Camaro6.

That would look way better to me! Keeps the 10-13 feel while making it fresh and new.

I don't see the resemblance. The shape is not the same, the reverse light for the prelude is on the bottom of the lense where the Z is in the center. Anybody who thinks they look similar is

They should have just gone with the euro style tail lights, I'm not really loving these.

Yes, in regards to the wrap around.

Agreed. The C7 Corvette taillights would have looked fine like you have them. Add the droopy mascara look from the Corvette around the lights (those hideous vents), and it would be a failure.

I actually prefer the route they have gone. GM has given the car a new look without making the current models look dated. Had the refresh come with tail lights like those, it would have just made our cars look dated. those lights are just like the current lights but with more refined lines.

look at the 2010 mustang vs the 2009. Same general style, but the 2010's lines are way more refined. just makes the 2009 look REALLY dated. the same with the charger update. Whenever I see a 2010> charger I think of how boring the 2011+ makes it look.

the new look is GOOD for your camaro if you want it to keep its own identity, rather than being a dated version of the new.
