Definitely will once the parts begin to get painted. There are still some other parts that need to be fitted before painting starts.

It definitely won't be a let down. My painter loves the hood as well.

UPDATE:
Painting should begin Wednesday. On another note, last night my uncle passed away. He was the one that owned the 68 coupe that I posted pics of above. He was a gear head like me and I'm am hurting extremely bad after hearing of his passing. I am deployed and Red Cross won't send me back for his funeral because of him not being immediate family even though he was very close to me. I will most likely be getting his Mustang and keep it in my possession til my day comes. Not going to let them sell it to some low life that will abuse it. Already planning on a repaint and some custom airbrushing on the quarter panel in remembrance of him. |

Great tribute Matt and a good way to remember him and honor him with airbrush work on his ride!

Sorry for your loss and that really sucks red cross wont let you go to the funeral, not sure how i would handle that. Very strong of you to keep thinking in a good way, i honestly would have flipped. Keeping that mustang would be a amazing way to show respect to him with you driving a chevy and we all the rivalry there. Best of luck and try and keep your head up. |

Since I will be deployed longer then expected, I have now started looking to raise my budget for a daily driver. Have my eyes set on the new Cruze diesel
![]() Also might be in the market for a used pick up and trailer Only time will tell though. |

Matt, so sorry to hear about your uncle. Please let me and the rest of your SC Camaro buds know if we can help in anyway.
When you get back remind me to show you some pics of my first real hot rod - a 1970 Mustang Mach 1. I still can remember how that thing sounded and felt. In those days I was running what we called a Crane 3/4 race cam. We'd probably call that a stage 3 cam today. Now that thing would lope! Cool ideas you have for your uncle's Mustang. I'd love to see it as well. Now on to this crazy idea about a trailer - do not make your Camaro a trailer queen!

Thanks Dan. One of my uncle's friends actually has a '70 Mach 1 fast back. Really nice car. Reason why I would consider the truck and trailer would be for moving reasons. You can't tow a Camaro with a Cruze
![]() It would be for things like PCS moves, shelter so nobody screws with it in the parking lot (also a benefit for bad weather) and to transport it to shows, trips, etc. Other then that, the Cruze is my best bet. |
