Some people just do not get it...They obviously wanted to get a rise out of you and got that. But look at the big picture and you underestimate people. And you are naive if you think that messing with your car is the worst thing that could happen...

Who is to say that they would not throw a fit of road rage when you have family or a loved one with you?

It does not even take words to make some people go nuts. Just last week I heard about some road rage where 2 guys in an SUV started shooting at some guy in his vehicle on the interstate in BFE Missouri.

Maybe they wouldn't mess with your car, but instead just do you bodily harm. Why go out of your way to throw rocks at a hornets nest. I'm just saying man, if you P**S enough people off bad things can happen.

Either way the odds may be slim, but you left a negative impression on these 2 guys and could have dealt with the situation better. I just hope they don't target someone elses camaro that looks like yours that is in their same area. Some people hold onto grudges and are vengeful.

I didn't expect people to agree with me OR disagree.

From a group stand point the Older generation probably doesn't agree with me
where as the younger ones do.
It's a different time. people and generations are different.
Some supported me who have been in the situation before. Some disagreed.
Others started to just complain about my response to someone blatantly calling me out.
Not cause he was stupid..
Not cause I'm a dick.
But cause he's talking about me as a person.
Would love to see how some of you would handle a situation like that..
Just based on some of the negative responses from some users.. I'm gonna guess worse than I did or do nothing.

I was 20 had a new 2000 Chevy z71 I think it was 2 months old, went to my now wife's hs graduation and one of her friends dad wouldnt stop talking crap. Pure jealousy, what little he knew was that I worked 80+ hours a wk for 2 summers ad about 30 hours a wk durin college and saved up and paid cash. It helped I didn't have many bills and lived at home.

How would I handle it?

I would handle it in my own way. I would do what I feel is right for myself, and not give it a second thought and not waste any time letting people's nonsense affect me. And I would also not go running to the Internet for support or advice on how to handle personal situations on a car forum.

But that's just me, and I'm 29.
