My "simple" black Lt customized a bit - green stripes

they arent stang stripes. dont like mustangs never owned one never looked at one long enough to say hey. i want mustang stripes on my camaro.if im not mistaken the first car to have racing stripes was a camaro.dont quote me on that. i took it to the painter and said " hey put this green on this car with stripes. wrap the stripes completely around cause i hate cars that just have hood stripes or hood and truck stripes that just stop..to me it makes the car look like it has cheap vinyl stickers. no offense.i think vinyls are fine that was my first choice but if i would have went with vinyl stripes they would have had to been exatly the same. my first choice was just exactly how the camaros with the stripes already on them. starting small taking up the entire width of the hood scoop then continuing acroos the top onto the truck and so on that same width. the painter asked could he do something a bit nontypical of the other 10s thats out i said tape it and let me see..he taped these stripes out and i loved them.they let some of the beefiness of the scoop still show like its saying "paint me if you will ill still overpower you.." lol..in other words i wanted the scoop to still stand out even with the stripes. MUSTANGS SUCKS and they dont have a monopoly on stripes. if anything ive seen those stripes on more euro garbage and chinese trash than on the "fat girl" car Mustangs..lol..

went to that site.if i get those then im sure ill end up ordering the wrong size or some other bs. do you have a diameter you could suggest to me.but im deffinately getting them in green. very soon. and i didnt order my car i just drove by and picked it up one day from the dealer.it was the begining of may i believe. but the vin says 01974 so if its the last five then its low last six maybe not so much. about the enterior too, ima do some subtle green work in there as well.always been apart of the grand scheme.right now i have the green underlights just for goofing off. but they change to whatever color or pattern i want. having a hard time deciding on what style rim ima go with. i can but im not spending a crazy amount of cash on rims. thanks for the link and the info..really appreciate it.

This was my vert first photoshop color combo that I was thinking about getting myself. Glad to see it looks just as good as I imagined it.

Nice car! Congratulations on making it your own. I think this is exactly the kind of Camaros Chevrolet was hoping to see when they displayed the black Camaro at SEMA in Vegas last year.

Color is good, but it has an un-finished look to it. The even stripes up the cowl dont follow the lines properly. You can fill in the missing space with some lettering to balance it out. For example if you go turbo on it, maybe put cool Transformer style lettering like "xxxHP TURBO" I like the idea, but it just feels off a bit. I am sure that you can dial it in though where you impress all with it. None the less, making it your own is nice. I havent decided what I am going to do to my Red 2010..... It will be different though so I dont loose it in the parking lot.

the paint job isnt even really done yet. i still have to take it back for the finale clear coating the will join the stripes to the original paint job for the "seamless" but i like the idead of letter. its a V6 but ultimately ima try to have it pushed to the same hp as the v8s off the line..so any suggestions on racing chips better turbos, etc. anything that adds power and especially a faster take off please let me know. there is this mountain here in West Virginia where alot of companies like to take unreleased cars and test their handling at top speeds on a real road senario. Its called Gauley Mountain. Its tough as hell but this camaro never slipped a wheel even one time at a top speed of 80. Ill take some pics of this road to show you why the car was so impressive. It out handles my g/fs Lancer.
