Almost a waste to clamp the hose because once it's on there's no way in hell it's coming off. If I could see with bifocals it would of also made it easier. Getting old stinks. Next up is bleeding out the old brake fluid and replacing with Motul 600. The plug with the supplied clamp was fun also. I don't care what JDP says there's no way in hell I could get the supplied clamp to go over the plug. Zip tie worked great.
It's a bitch but I ended up getting the supplied clamp over it..
Took me forever but I finally got it, and honestly it felt good when I Did.. that bitch...

Same goes for that clamp on the firewall, once I had the right tool that was like night and day as well...

The clamp on the firewall isn't bad if you get lucky when they build the car and they install the prongs of the clamp at the top where you can squeeze them easily. No such luck for me.

Because I didn't see the question and because I'm one of those warrantee worriers, I have to ask... has anyone heard of any issues with this mod?

I haven't heard of any problems, if anything this mod is for longevity to keep you away from warranty issues.
On the other hand only you will know if your dealership will have an issue with this mod, each places tolerance seems to be a little different. I would just ask and explain what it is where you normally go. See what they have to say and then make your decision.
It's a must have in my opinion though.

I would not even waste your time trying to get the supplied clamp on the cap. I attempted it and instantly thought I was going to rip or puncture the cap. This has been an issue forever I don't understand why they don't provide a bigger clamp or thicker cap to use stock sized clamps.
