If you guys are coming route 8 North take the Litchfield / Harwinton exit, end of the ramp turn left over the highway and 1st left onto Route 118, run approx. 5 miles to the green.

Best part of going up route 4 through Burlington is the "S"turns
just before the center.Turns into a double lane at the bottom and if you have somebody running along with you it's a race to the merge at the top of the last curve. A little back road racing along the way!! Love going that way back to Litchfield from Hartford area!!

The DOT is replacing Roaring Brook bridge on Rte 4 in Farmington and traffic sucks which is why I would stay away. Bud way in if you've been through there under construction.

Just through there a couple of weeks ago and saw the signs for doing the work.
I can run through that way on my way into work in Farmington and check it out. Not my normal route but not out of my way. I don't think they would be working it on Sunday morning but will find out in the morning. LET YOU KNOW
