Boston Acoustics. It's the optional upgraded system. I personally haven't heard it other than at very low volume, but everyone says it's horrible. I don't know how because I think my standard system is halfway decent, it has to be better than that, right?

The one thing that is great about it is the stock BA amp is near the rear taillights, it was so easy to add an after market amp and sub to a stock system.

For reference,I had an '85 Grand Prix with a 3.8 V6 ,2 bbl, Turbo 250 3-speed. That car was a sled. 70MPH was about all you would get out of it,any more and the engine sounded like it was going to over-rev. Lousy gas mileage, too . Technology and GM have come a long way.

There's a thread on here about disconnecting the center speaker on the BA system. IMO, it helps a lot, and you can actually turn up the volume to a decent level.

Mustang V6 with the Performance Pack is the best track car for $25k you can buy.

I had the same system in my Mustang and it was significantly better than the stock stereo in my 2013 1LT. Still wouldn't go back to the Mustang though !

Yea you are right. I just switched over from Mustang just to see how Camaros
drive. The 2013 and 2014 V6 Mustang does 0-60 in 5.4 with the pony package
and I believe the package is only $2000.

Any of the 3 current Pony cars are a great bang for the buck. If you get past the V8 snobbery, 323Hp out of 3.6Liters is pretty impressive. (V8 426Hp out of 6.2 L)
If a 6 cyl in a 911 or Cayman S is impressive, why the look down the nose at a V6 Pony car?!
And the Manual/auto same thing. Race cars and high performance cars use paddle shifting auto's. Manuals are fun nostalgia. 90% of people driving a stick could never reproduce the 0 to 60 times advertised that are done with a professional driver. Gramma could put her foot into the same car with an automatic and kill the average manual driver thinking he's all that. lol

I don't think grandma could kill a manual in stick. I also feel that paddle shifting is about as queer as it gets. The drive behind getting a sports car is to have the power directly at your disposal, not a some flick of a finger.

Oh, and I have duplicated the quarter mile times of the professionals. I ran my stock 2001 Mustang GT at a 14.0 flat, at Race Way Park in New Jersey. So that's a false statement.

IMHO, the only way to fully experience the generous 323 ponies the LFX puts out, is via the manual 6 tranny. It is a very nice package. The engine just loves to be wrung out, and the stock M6 tune is very nice. Not too much rpm hang, and no slumps or dips after shifts. It jumps right up, and delivers very smooth, linear power off the shift, even at low rpm. I have had V8's that did not to that well at all, and despite their power, were a drag to drive until tuned.

I have nothing against the auto, but I think most people who either dismiss, or scoff at the v6 have never driven one with a stick. It is an entirely different car, and to me (owner of many v8's, about 26 last count)....it feels very close to a nice small-block v8 in power/performance. (reminds me of my TPI'd 305 - 5 sp Z28 from days gone by - quicker too!) The auto I drove felt much heavier, and somewhat disconnected from the drive train. That being said, either delivers a nice experience, and a terrific bang for the $$.
