I would ask your insurance about having his insurance put out to total and purchase the car so that you can end up getting a new car. That's probably your best bet if they don't end up totalling the car.

Glad you're ok.

Yea too back you weren't stuck with the door pinned or guys like me would use O-cutters and the spreaders to rip the door off, remove that post and most likely total your car.

Wasn't someone on here looking for some RS HALO headlights w/o wanting to get the RS package?

i pay no attention to the lights and assume every driver is running through their light . I used to ride a Harley and it rubbed off on my car driving . the lights mean nothing . i assume someone is going to run the light every time i drive and have saved my own life because of this several times.

Glad you are uninjured. Amazing how good the car looks despite being severely injured. Kudos for your restraint. I would have made sure the other driver was injured. Thank you for sharing your horror. Good luck on getting an option for a new car. I agree, I'd want a new one too.

BTW, What was he driving?

I can hear Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" playing in the background.

That really sucks, man. It'll all work out okay, have faith.

Glad you're okay. I can't say the same for the other guy...

Sound advise. I am also a Harley rider so I can definetely agree with you on that, especially now since I have been in an accident on my bike

What's really dumb about people running lights is that when it changes from green to red...it isn't instant. There's a delay between when the yellow turns to red and then when the other road's red turns to green.

For someone to t-bone you they have to COMPLETELY ignore the lights...

Sorry to hear this though. Just makes me more paranoid when I drive mine.

Seeing this makes me wonder how safe the other guy is after the crash if someone ever does this to my car. Glad everyone is OK

How devastating... I cannot imagine the anguish and frustration you must feel. Of course I too am glad you and everyone are ok. It is ashame some people don't pay attention to what is going on around them. Maybe a cell phone/texting was involved. I honestly cannot believe people do that while "driving". Maybe if the frame is "bent" it will reach being totalled, I cannot imagine how sick you are about this. Best of luck!!!
