You'd be surprised when, if you approached them and started asking questions, how much they are as passionate about their car as you are about yours.

Why is this BS on here at all?....Isn't Farce-Book the place for whiny, self-indulgent, impatient little brats to tell everyone how great they are?

24 here. And being from WI I have to store it during the winter. I just bought it a couple weeks ago and the people at work just don't get it. Guess we just have a different way of looking at cars..

Our H-Town Camaro club has a great variety of ages. My husband and I are on the younger side, 32 and 31 but we have some much younger and older than us. We all get along great and have a blast. No one is judged on their age or type of camaro they have. We are all equals who are passionate about our cars. I think you should give that group another try. If you are seen out there I guarrantee younger camaro owners will notice you and start to join y'all.

Perhaps with acquired social skills age difference wouldn't matter much.

I'm 36 and have been to several events....I also wasn't impressed with the senior crowd, they were not really performance enthusiasts they were more into show and tire shine and talking about what floor mats they have in their cars and what wax they use. I also would like to see some younger and more performance based clubs.

I'm 16, but would honestly rather talk to a 65 year old guy about their old cars, how things were back in the day, and so on. I love things like that, and you just can't get that from younger people!

My 12 year old son went with me to the car cruise last night and he had no problems talking with us old folks. He even went off on his own and talked to people just fine.

I'm still 25 at heart. However, if it wasn't for us "old guys" the Camaro wouldn't be as successful as they are and you DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to afford one. If you go to a car show, go to see the cars, or get yours judged against the others. If you want to hang out with a bunch of 20-somethings, go to a sports bar or a game-room. Better yet why don't you start your own car club for people in the age range you specify. Chances are 75% of them will be import tuners.

Don't post a rant unless you're willing to put up with rant responses.
