I am a big fan of the Jannetty tests that show IAT right along side of HP and TQ numbers.

Wow this thread is old and I hadn't seen it prior to today. However, I've been linking to the Kenne Bell pdf for years on other car forums, when the talk would turn to HAI versus CAI (box) or FWI. Even on a supercharged intercooled daily driver I could tell the difference, between having a cone on the throttle body versus running a Wizaired (similar to CAI brand). The difference was night and day when I tested during the heat of the summer. But, some guys claimed they ran faster at the track with the hai versus cai.

soooo ADM, is there a CAI that you recommend? I've been looking at the Cold Air Induction CAI, it has a sealed box much like the factory box but I'm not sure where it's drawing the air from. Is it using the same source as the factory box? I think you can buy a "scope" to use with this unit that inserts in or around the grill but I haven't gotten that far in my research yet...

Yes we do,we designed the first sealed box style intake for the camaro almost 2 years ago.

We also designed the first airscoop for the 2010 Camaro .

I agree w/ his synopsis completely, so then why is his supercharger kit for the camaro (appears to be this way) have a hot exposed air intake filter that comes w/ the kit? At least in the pics, I`ve never seen one in person it appears to have no box or shield and just sits down in the fenderwell on the driver side. So it would definetly be pulling in "hot underhood air". At least it appears to be unshielded underhood air in the few pics I`ve seen.

Andy, you should make them a kit!
