Very true. Snow happens. That's more of a light dusting compared to the car I referred to in my OP. When the entire wheel wells on one side are packed tight with dirty, salty snow plowed right up against it and left there for months without any attention... That is a different story. I never said a little bit of snow is gonna total a vehicle. My main point in my post was the severity of the situation. I guess I'll have to snap a pic next time I cruise by and post it so everyone stops bashing me. (Although I will give points for some of the creative sarcasm)

Sometimes i miss the good old days when people just enjoyed driving there cars and not sweat about the small stuff. Things sure have changed in the automotive hobby.

Right! I woke up this morning and peeked out my window just to make sure people didn't have me surrounded with pitchforks and torches.

We are hiding behind the snow bank.

Curious to know what does more damage at a dealership; leaving the car out in the snow during the winter or in the blazing summer sun. Keep in mind that the snow plow drifts aren't likely to have salt, as it is laid own after plowing.

Well it's a good thing I never compared the rust properties on the car built in 1969 to the one built in 2013 then, isn't it? You can disagree all you like but why you'd make something up is a strange bag to me.

So I have a pair of questions for you: why would you post that? It's just not true. It even feels like you're lying, because there's no way you can't know I never said that the rust on the car built in '69 had comparable rust properties to the 2013 car. And question 2: why would you make such an easily refuted lie about me? It seems like you just want to jump on the dogpile and be a bigshot.

And then it snows again and they plow again....

The way I understand this is the dealer owns the car the same as when they were drilling holes to mount the front license holder or adhered dealer badges. You have the option not to buy.

Who said they would have bought it except for the fact it had snow on it or that it had rust? Purchase of the vehicle is not the topic.
