Good to know I am not alone and wonder when they had a chance to add more cool stuff in 2013 why GM did not. I did not mention key less start but someone else did. Was thinking weight too. (start with those HUGE mufflers) I hope GM trolls these forums we know what we need!@!

Storage on dash

A revised center console that allows the drinks to stay in the cup holder without interfering with the shifter (for manual cars) and how about a compartment or pocket somewhere in the dash to put things like my cell phone so that way the cupholder isnt occupied with my phone.

The ergonomics on this car you can tell were not designed with daily driving in mind. I mean, you CAN..and I do...but eh.
You get that storage if you don't buy the gauge package on 2SS or 2LT.

Left hand radio controls

radio on the right.. misc (cruise control or whatever) on the left.

the reason some import cars are opposite is because of right hand drive designs take priority in other countries, and they use the same steering wheels/controls for right and left had drive made vehicles.

as the general rule of thumb is both hands on the wheel at all times except when you are shifting, it makes sense the way it is set up now.
I guess it depends on which hand you have most on the wheel. For me its the left hand. With the right would be changing air, drinking or backhanding passenger (haha). Maybe I change the radio channel too much..

as far as I know trucks and SUV's get their rears tinted because people store personal belongings back there, as such a passerby can see into the vehicle and see your secured items. Tinted windows make this more difficult.

since the Camaro has a locking trunk with a lid, no one can see into, tinting the rear window from the factory is not needed, and therefore becomes more of a personal choice than one made by OEM out of safety.

all the vehicles you name are 4 or more passenger vehicles likely to be used for the transportation of multiple people regularly.

a 2 door 2 seater (yeah sorry the back seat is not intended for regular use on a Camaro or any other 2-door vehicle) doesn't have any need for Auto Climate Control. The vehicle cools down or heats up very quickly because of the tight quarters..

neither does a sports car in general, it adds complexity, cost, and weight.

I personally see zero need for it... I've had it in almost every vehicle I've owned since 1996, and I can recall never using it..
I think you are talking dual zone there. I was more looking at the set it at 70 and it keeps it at 70. Not sure of the weight of a thermostat. Maybe 2 ounces?

If you had it and lost it...then you understand.

-Those sun visors are a joke, they should fold out to become larger. I agree they are small, but fold out how, once they fold down lower on the windshield might not have much room to see out the windshield. That's a engineering problem not mine I just make requests here..
-Radio controls on left of wheel not right. It makes much more sense. Why? Makes more sense, not sure I understand what sense you are comparing this too? If you have to do anything with your right hand..
-Needs lane change alert system, massive blind spots. I agree there are blind spots, but many cars have blind spots, just need to know where they are, and how to pay attention what is around you at all times. I do like the idea, but this will come at a cost. Car is already high priced for full options it should be in there for that price.
-Sunroof opens to top of roof which is ugly. Not much room but should hide inside roof. There is no room to have the sunroof come inside and still leave room for people that are tall to be able to drive there Camaro. Example, I am 6' tall and when driving with my helmet( 1/4 mile. My helmet is touching the roof, if I had a sunroof, I would never fit. I too do not like the sunroof outside when open, which is why I decided to go without one when ordering my Camaro. Yah its a bigger problem and could impact looks but could research raise roof 3 inch

Fun

Your requests are invalid. The Camaro is getting a redesign so it's pointless.

Halos for everybody and on all the time.
Keyless entry and pushbutton start
Climate control! I don't like to keep screwing with the controls

I'd love it if the industry came up with a standard configuration for steering wheel buttons like volume. I think my Silverado and Camaro are the same, our Prius and Honda are the opposite.

How about a auto parking brake???

And of course we all know it need a diet.
Not sure if you have seen them, there is a auto parking break out there. You don't need that huge handle just a switch. And to all you kids that use the old handle break to skid that won't work anyways on this car cause its TOO sticky and heavy!!

I think just a single zone like what the Mustang, vette, 370z, and Challenger have would be a good comparison. I think even the viper gets it, and that car isn't exactly known for its comfort.

Not for everyone. Not a necessity. Isn't going to change my mind on the car. But a nice feature which I use and like.

Properly adjust your mirrors, and you won't have blind spots.

That may be true however since they are still building it, makes sense to stress the points so they listen...

all i want is automatic temp control. dont care if its dual or not. I hate having to mess with both knobs all the time. just set it to the temp i want and it keeps it there.

Pad the drivers door sill. I rack up some miles with my elbow on the drivers door sill and my elbow skin gets roughed up. Even the 4th gen had padding although it wasn't thick enough. What can I say I don't lube up much.

Also if they can figure out a way to close or seal gaps in the rear that hold water. Always have water drips on the car after drying it from the tail light area holding water on 3rd gen, 4gen and now 5th gen (maybe 14 redesign resolved?).

Make seat heaters variable or add a lower setting. The current low setting is too warm to me.
