But very fast with larger sweepers. This was my big concern too until I ran it and others commented. We had some experts out there and everyone really liked the track. It is safe, will help everyone get lots of runs and doesn't require a ton of track maintenance. I think you will like it and it takes practice to get times down.

There was a LOT of debate about it. Many issues that led to the short track design, but we have many concerns to address. After running it a few times, the short run wasn't a concern voiced by the participants and many were happy they got many, many more runs as a result. Another issue is having enough track workers. This design will benefit us with minimal maintenance for cones etc.

Personally, I loved having 10-12 runs at 25 seconds versus 3-5 runs at 45 seconds. Those extra 20 seconds didn't really stand out.

I loved the track... The big sweepers really let you see how hard you can push your car on the edge. Tight switch-back style corners are cool, but you can compensate with throttle to correct entry lines, speed, apex problems. Sweepers show set up and driver skill at the limit.
The only thing I might have added to the course was an immediate left or right turn off the start gate (SCCA style) to level the field for the lower power cars that don't have the torque off the line. Could have made the final even closer or changed it all together...
