When I get myself a 1LE as my weekend warrior I will no doubt wash it everytime I take it out and pull the wheels off, jack it up, and clean every little suspension component, the tires, polish the exhaust. And get rid of any dirt underneath that can hold moister and cause rust before I put it away for the winter.

Call me crazy for going through that much but I think in the long run it'll make the difference on the look of the car years down the road.

Way to make me feel incompetent! I wash my car maybe once a month. And that's a MAYBE. It's just too much of a hassle for it to look good for 5 minutes and then look the same
As it did before. The main reason I clean my car is from the bugs though. But yeah... Once a month.

25 here. Got my car as a 25th birthday present and I wanted something stylish and that I would want to keep for a long time, so it had to have a classic look. It was kind of an impulse buy since 3 days before I got it, all I was looking at were Audi's and BMW's but I absolutely love my car. I may get a V8 sometime in the future in addition to this car, but right now it's perfect for my tastes.

I've been mistaken for a younger person all of my life (right now I get the high school senior - college sophomore range) but I haven't heard anything negative like "Did you parents buy you this car".

26 got it 3 months ago. Will be paid off in a year or so. Saving up to turbo it right now. Can't wait. I feel if I'm eventually going to turbo it I might as well turbo it now and start enjoying it.

I'm 52 going on 17!!! I financed mine @ 3.25%. Made sense to finance since my (our) investments make better than that. I'm sure Dave Ramsey would disagree. Sorry Dave!

I'm 37, got my first Trans-Am when I was 16, was a 1980 Turbo T/A, then got a 1982 T/A, always had Trans Ams, with the exception of a new '94 Z28, Had a '00 WS6 for a long time, last T/A I had was a '76 455 4spd, no more T/As so I finally sucked it up and got a '14 1LE. I'm a Pontiac guy, always have been, but oh well.
