You are honestly convinced because of those horrible drivers the gt500 REALLY is only a tenth faster than the SS REALLY? i really hope you dont roam the streets witrh your ss thinking your going to eat up a gt500 lol

If they are both horrible drivers why shouldn't I be convinced?? They are professionals, I wouldn't expect to run into a better driver on the street.

alright then i guess you will keep thinking that the gt500 is only a tenth quicker than the ss in the 1/4. enjoy

I for one, am just thankful that we live at a time and place with all thats going on in the world that these 3 spectacular muscle cars are still available (SRT8, GT500, SS/RS)

Enjoy them, relish them, and develop a camaraderie with your fellow enthusiast across brand lines. Enjoy these cars before they are legislated out of existence. The is be remembered as the Golden Age of the modern muscle car. I could give a flip who's faster or better, just thankful they are here.

i don't think the OP posted these pics to start a vs. thread but rather for us to enjoy two bad ass muscle cars.

That's correct. I just want to show the two cars together. I figured Camaro5 members would enjoy them. For the most part it seems I was right.

Man that pic just doesn't do anything for me. I love the camaro and the GT500 is a beast, but I'm a believer in fast sport and muscle cars need bright colors. I believe we need to be seen in a distance coming so people will break their necks and run off the road gwaking over our cars. Other then that, those are some great pics.

Always loved dark blue w/white rally stripes! Doesn't matter if its Ford, Chevy, or Oldsmobile. Its pretty apparent parked next to the Shelby that GM should have lengthened the rally stripes on the Camaro.

Speaking of GT500, it's too bad they cancelled the new Knight Rider. It would have been interesting if they used the 2010 GT500 as KITT. I got the DVD set of the new Knight Rider and enjoyed it. But I definately don't like the battle mode KITT.

I went to a Ford dealer to check out the 2010 Mustang GT500... have to admit it, GT500 look real nice.

I still love my Camaro.

+1 I agree. More people should read I mean read what you posted. I'm more GM than anything but I'm still a car enthusiast. I have a soft spot in my heart for Fords, spent alot of time under them and grew up with them.
