It looks to be kind of gray/blue when light isn't hitting it directly, but it "pops" nicely in the light because of the metallic paint. Similar to my ABM in that, when in darker light it takes on a teal hue, but in the sunlight it pops like a bright medium blue.

Maybe they will have a car at the NY Auto Show this week in Blue Velvet and we can see a real live picture that we know 100% is accurate.

Oh so no Ol' Blue Eyes, and instead Blue Velvet? I can't wait to see the first camaro pic with this color.

I know I've been busy when I'm just now seeing this. That ATS blue should be nice if that's what it ends up being.

Thanks - we've been waiting a while! That blue on the ATS will work...not perfect, but I think it'll look even better in person. I guess we'll all know for sure here pretty soon.

Yeah, I figured as much. (phew) That blue is starting to grow on me, though. I'm going to the NYIAS next week, so I'll see if they have an ATS in that new blue color. If I like it, It'll be a 2015, if not, then it will be a 2014. I was so hoping they would have added the Laguna Blue to Camaro paint line-up.

Hello im thinking the blue on the caddy id opulent blue metallic.. camaro blue looks to be darker

I believe you are correct. The Blue Velvet is much darker. Cadillac offers the Blue Velvet(Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic) and the Opulent Blue and the pic below is definitely OB.
