I think ride and drive can be used interchangeably so I understand your confusion. This is based off of talking to hundreds and hundreds of car guys and gals a week. Discussions really should be broken down into 2 categories: comfort and handling. There is na fine line between the 2. There are multiple perameters that we can do to document and explain handling. However, comfort gets into the subjective range, which makes it a little more challenging. There are terms that we can use, but would not makle sense to the general public.

Since day one, we have always told enthusiast to roadtest a Pedderized vehicle. Ron Pedder in Au is off the charts fanatic about ride quality with performance. Pedders USA satarted off from nothing with the GTO to a multi million dollar organization in a very rapid manner based on this principle. This is where Pedders Days started. I am not sure who had the first one, but I started these events before I even was a Pedders dealer.

The Camaro sales are seriously stronger than GTO and G8n will ever be. WE will have a serious amount of Pedders days next year at all Pedders dealers. It will be next year when the number of Camaros will be very high, plus it will give us some time to get our inventory balanced and stabilized. We are a little behind where we wanted to be due to the Camaro being late on their deliveries and production, plus they changes a number of items in the suspension system from the original enginerring notes. I think Pedders is far ahead of the curve than anyone else on the Camaro. We had goals to attain using just our coil overs that others had to use their coil overs AND sway bars. We bought our own Camaro so we did not have to rely on the availability from others. The Pedders Revolution Camaro will be the epitome of handling, lokks, and performance. We will have a massive amount of upgrades done by this Friday. Bought will take somwe time to totalyy dial it it wheree we think it is perfect. We now have a really cool nhew design Procharger on it. But eventually we will have a new stroker motor. The goal will be to outhandle a ZR1 on a open coarse. We will prove thast we can do it. It is easy to outperform a Z06, and we will document this as well.

thanks
mike

OK that makes a lot more sense to me so the ride is defiantly stiffer but bot to stiff for a daily driver just enough to give you a better feel of the road and the handling it ridiculously better the body roll that the stock car has is been reduced to barley any making you feel a lot more comfortable taking turns at about double the speed. thanks for the explanation DMS

So is there still a back order on the Pro kit? Looking for a Eibach dealer in Cali. I live in Hawaii and am trying to save on shipping.

I see that you are in Hawaii? We are talking to Revolution Motorsports there. They agreed to become a dealer. We are just waiting for the paperwork.

Pro-plus kit, springs & bars, should not be available until the bars are done in Oct., from what I have read.

The pro-kit, springs only, should be out next week. If you want them as a package you will have to wait until Oct.

I think the springs are around $240 and the bars are around $340 from Eibach. This is all off the internet, I'm not a dealer, just want to consume a better suspension pgk.

Not sure how much the package price will save, will update as information becomes available.

DMS, above, might be a pedders dealer or with pedders. I think their xa coilovers are around $1450. He may be able to clairify. I don't think Pedders has their bars yet either.

Why would you need new springs and shocks after a few years?

Revolution huh??? We'll see how affordable this local reseller will be...

By the time the HI VARs add their inflated shipping, parts mark-up, and inflated labor, you pretty much take it or leave it. Not enough competition/customer base and shipping is $$$. Gives them all the reasoning to do whatever. Just like 2 of 3 dealers that are asking $16K + MSRP due to supply & demand.

I hope they work out as a competitive local reseller/installer. We'll see...

We have come up with the labor times for our jobs. But what is different across the country is labor rates. So what is the labor rate in Hawaii? We already have 3 vehicles to do there.

Shipping costs are a direct relationship to how fast you want it. We have shipped a bunch of GTO stuff to Hawaii using UPS already.

thanks
mike

To be honest, I haven't checked their labor rates. I've been out of the mod scene for ~14 years due to domestic responsibilities. Median single home is >$550,000 and our economy is primarily based on tourism, military, construction, and we're in the middle of the pacific. I digress...

With my Camaro order, I'm getting back into it. Back in the day, small specialty shops did not follow manufacturer labor times, if available. These are not insurance jobs. I'm still looking at wheel combos before I address tire fender clearance and ride/handling. Your products look good and is in the short list of "to-do's"

When the time comes(hopefully by Nov/Dec), I consider local VARs/installers or drop shipping and doing myself. Just send out for allignment.

Thanks.
