#10 is true ..
10. Cops are surprisingly cool (for now)
i got pulled over 3 times already and i had my car for only 2 weeks today!!!!!!!! i got 2 seatbelt tickets and a verbal warning instead of
going 42 in a 25 (seatbelt)
53 in a 40 (Seatbelt)
and 59 in a 40 (verbal warning)

they all asked questions about the car and loved it .. i even got a " what you got under the hood?" from the last cop.. which was a leutenant ... all these were in different towns in nj
so yes cops love the car !!!

Say... you didn't by any chance name your car... Christine... did you? Might be having an atittude problem with curbing one of her wheels...

This is one of the best threads on the forum, VERY entertaining. I loved the one about the kid spending 5 minutes looking at your reflection in the "cute girl's" car. That kid is a true Camaro fan already hehehe.

I have one to add. We must get used to people asking if they can go for a ride in it. Had a coworker ask me if I they could when the car came in. I laughed and said they'd be lucky if I let them even breathe on it. Come to think of it now, I don't think I want them doing that either.

They made the IROC version from 1985-1990. I would more closely associate the IROC version with the 80s more so then the 90s. Sorry to nit pick.

This weekend all at the same local ford dealership, I had a sales lady yell at me to get that camaro off their lot.

Then I had a sales man ask If I wanted to race and said he would get the gt 500 out of the showroom, I replied in front of his two customers " For 20,000 more than I paid you should be able to outrun me by a fender"

And last , A customer there says I like your car, It looks just like the new mustang.

Oh and b4 you guys flame me for being at a ford dealership, my wife and I were there looking at a used mustang for her because we cant afford another new camaro.

If you REALLY feel the need to express your dislike about something it lends a little more credibility to thoughts if you don't use words like "Fugly" But speak intelligently about your feelings and offer opinions about what exactly you don't like.

I don't like a lot of cars but I would never tell the owners it's "Fugly" People like different things, it's what makes life and different people interesting.
WOW......that just sucks...I would expect the Chevy people to be the car's biggest fans...

My 13 year old son and I washed the car yesterday afternoon and then took her out to finish drying her off. So, we're driving in the left hand lane and a cute little girl in a mustang pulls up next to us. I look over and smile and keep driving. The girl, I guess in an effort to keep checking the car out, stays beside us for the LONGEST time. I notice after a couple of minutes, that my son is STARING out the window, craning his neck, and smiling. The conversation goes like this:

"Son, you could be a little LESS obvious with your staring"
"What? I'm just LOOKING dad!"
"Yeah, but you're probably making her uncomfortable."
"Who?"
"That cute little girl over there you've been staring at for the past 5 miles"
"What?"
"THAT girl, over THERE!" and I point at her.
"Oh! No, I wasn't staring at HER! I was looking at OUR reflection in her car!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, I'm driving to work this morning. Up I-95 to D.C. in the middle lane, just cruising the speed limit. Up beside me (in the fast lane), pulls a new Dodge Charger. He slows down to my speed for a few seconds and then takes off. He immediately slows down and pulls beside me again.

I think to myself, "It's WAY too early in the morning for this stuff." and ignore him. I don't even look over in his direction.

He stays along side me for a few more seconds and then guns it again, and then slows down; taunting me to race. I continue to not look in his direction. I mean, we're on I-95 in the middle of morning traffic. What does he expect me to do?

Anyway, the Charger, I guess, finally gives up and pulls ahead. As he makes it a full car length away I notice something that I didn't before...

IT WAS AN UNMARKED POLICE OFFICER!

2 VERY FUNNY STORIES!!!...LOL...thanks for sharing...I'm still laughing...
